JSC «Uzqishloqelektrqurilish» was established in 1969, when Trust No. 2 was renamed into the «Uzselelektrostroy» trust.

It was formed as OJSC «Uzqishloelektrqurilish» on the basis of Order No. 150k-PO of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 6 March 1996
«On the transformation of Trust No. 2 «Uzselelektrostroy» into an open joint-stock company». It was registered on 16 July under number 287-k. Later it was re-registered as JSC «Uzqishloqelektrqurilish».

JSC «Uzqishloqelektrqurilish» is engaged in the construction and capital repair of power transmission lines and substations with voltages of 0.4 - 10 kV and from 220 kV to 500 kV. Construction and installation works are carried out by
8 mechanised columns located in the southern part of the country, in the Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya, Jizzakh, Navoi and Bukhara regions. The mechanised columns are equipped with special machinery — mechanisms and equipment — and staffed by qualified workers and engineering technicians with many years of experience. Every year the mechanised columns build hundreds of kilometres of power transmission lines. In addition, they repair existing power transmission lines and eliminate the consequences of accidents.

«Samarkand Auxiliary Production Enterprise» LLC, located in the Pastdargom district of the Samarkand region, manufactures metal structures and 35-220 kV metal supports required for the construction of power transmission lines.

In addition, «Energoqurilishmahsulot» LLC, located in the Uzun district of the Surkhandarya region, and «Kamashi Production Enterprise» LLC, located in the Kamashi district of the Kashkadarya region, produce reinforced concrete supports (SV 105-3.5, SV 95-3.0, SV 105-5.0) and other products required for the construction of power transmission lines and substations.

The team of JSC «Uzqishloqelektrqurilish» takes an active part in the construction of many important facilities built in the republic during the years of independence.
